DiploMates is IDI’s small-group embassy engagement program, designed to provide students with direct and meaningful access to diplomats. Through intimate meetings hosted at embassies or diplomatic institutions, participants engage in open dialogue, ask substantive questions, and gain first-hand insight into foreign policy and diplomatic work. The smaller format encourages candid discussion and deeper understanding, offering a rare opportunity to experience diplomacy beyond formal lectures or large public events.
